Singer Hajarah Namukwaya aka Spice Diana yesterday hosted a community of Munyonyo moslem women at her home for Jumah Prayers before seeing them off with items to break their fasting.
Spice Diana alao narrated she was not born Moslem but later got adopted by a Moslem man that ended up converting her religion that proudly enjoys now.
“My mother is called Nantale Beatrice. The name Hajara was given to me by a man who adopted me and I call him Dad. I learned a lot from that man. I didn’t grow up with my biological father. Women know that motherhood is not easy. We raise kids alone… I met a man named Mansur Ntatwa. He is of the Mbogo clan. He loved me like his daughter and raise me in Islamic culture and he gave me the name Hajara though I wasn’t born a Muslim. He taught me a lot about the world and raised me to become the woman you see today. That’s why I know Muslims are loving and kind people. And if it wasn’t for Mansur, I would never have gone to school or become who I’m today. He loved me like his child, taught me how to love God and turn into a woman that loves people. That’s why I’m always involved in anything that has to do with Islam.” she narrated.
