President Y.K. Museveni is today launching Pastor Imeldah Namutebi-Kula’s Liberty Worship Cathedral in Lugala Rubaga division. The 15,000 seater that has taken over 10 years to construct, cost over 6 billion shillings.
“God is great and he deserves the glory all the time.” said Pastor Namutebi while chatting about the new church.
“I planned the structure myself, and then sought the architectures’ approval and after that we started. We didn’t have money, but people would donate. Someone would say ‘I am donating forty bags of cement. Another would say, ‘I am donating all the doors.’ So this you are seeing is a success story of everyone,” Namutebi told the New Vision.
President Museveni will commission the 70 meters by 42 church today.
