The 33 Miss Tourism finalists were unveiled yesterday at J&M Airport Road Hotel in Bwebajja. These beauties hail from 11 regions (Ankole, Buganda, Kigezi, Tooro, Karamoja, Bunyoro, Teso, Busoga, West Nile, Northern and Bugisu) around the country and were the top three contestants in each of the regional beauty pageants.
The event started at around 8pm and the girls were unveiled to the audience. One by one, they introduced themselves as the audience cheered on. The unveiling ceremony was graced by the Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Maria Mutagamba as the guest of honor.
The beauties will now go for a two-week national boot-camp before the overall winner is crowned on 28th August 2015 at Serena Hotel.
