Not everyone is happy about the successful Celebrity Sunday service held by Pastor Wilson Bugembe that took place at his Light the World Church in Nansana. A group of religious leaders has come out to rebuke him for associating with sinful celebrities and bringing them to the house of God.
News on our desks indicates that the Pastor who ferried celebs like Desire Luzinda (nudes-sextape saga), Cindy Sanyu (hubby snatcher), Bebe Cool (Loud mouth), Seya, GNL, Mun G and 200 others to his church could be changing into a sinner instead of changing the sinners for God.
One of the Pastor’s claims that Wilson has defiled the church by bringing these sinful idles into the church. Another section of religious leaders assert that people like Maama Fiina and Desire Luzinda will divide the church. Bugembe has decided to hit back at these religious men and women by releasing a new song called Sibiwulira. This comes after he was cautioned by one of the pastors to be very careful as he could mislead the faithful anytime soon. “God will punish him if anything goes wrong and people’s faith is dismantled,” another Pastor said.
Bugembe on the other hand says that even Jesus associated with sinners and not the righteous to bring them closer to the Kingdom of heaven. “I was overwhelmed by the number of celebrities that’s showed up at the service. This event is growing bigger every year and I am very glad that it is. Those who are against it have surely not internalized the Bible and all its teachings,” the man of God remarked.
