By BigEyeUg Writer The Late Pastor Yiga’s son Andrew Jjengo, who is also a pastor at Christian Revival Church, Kawaala, said that his late father was his best friend. In the emotional message he sent to his father yesterday on his burial, Jjengo noted that he is not sure of getting another best friend like his dad and that really touched many hearts.
In his words, he thanked his father for being a great champion, mentor, trend setter and many more.
“My dad was my best friend and greatest role model. He was an amazing dad, coach, mentor, soldier, husband and friend. He once said, ‘Champ, the measure of a man is not how often he is knocked down, but how quickly he gets up” Pastor Yiga’s son stated.
He went on and added that his desire is to see all those who were connected to him working together in peace and harmony . He praised the dad for being an example to many and promised that his legacy will live on.
I’m so much grateful to you, grateful to Almighty God, who gifted you as my Dad. I will never be able to be a person like you. Thank you for being my Dad. It’s so sad I have lost a big part of my life. But you will always be at heart and you will always be loved. Rest in peace. Pr. Augustine Yiga Abizaayo” He concluded.
Pastor Augustine Yiga a.k.a Abizaayo lived a controversial life and when his death was finally pronounced earlier this week (Tuesday) ,still some people could not believe arguing that it is a stunt.
