Ugandan Pastors make a lot of money from their congregations to help build the kingdom of God on earth. But when it comes to time for money to be taken away from them, it’s never easy but not for cons.

A Ugandan pastor who owns a church near Wandegeya has been conned. The pastor who wanted to build a new church for the Christian community in Lusaka Zambia ended up losing 200 million shillings to frauds.

He broke the news to his congregation recently when he said that he went to Zambia to build a new church, bought land and later went back to start construction on site only to realize that he had faked. The land belonged to someone else and so he had ‘bought air’. “I was very disappointed when I lost the 200 million shillings but I realized that God will give me more to build the church. I forgive those who wronged me,” he said.

The man of God promised not to give up on his mission of getting the people of Lusaka closer to God. He will now go back to get a new piece of land and ready to convert those who cheated him.

We will keep you posted.
