A 41-year-old pastor died when he was struck by lightning while preaching at the Apostolic Church at Mazana village in northern Namibia.
The Namibia Press Agency (Nampa) quoted Namibian Police Force (NamPol)’s spokesman chief inspector Kauna Shikwambi as saying that the incident occurred in full view of his congregation on Sunday.
The pastor, identified as Kavanga John Karora, died instantly. He was a resident of Rundu, the capital of the Kavango-East Region.
