A recent altercation involving Ugandan singer Pallaso has sparked controversy as he clashed with his hotel neighbours over noise pollution stemming from a late-night party.
The incident, captured in a viral video circulating on social media, depicts Pallaso exchanging heated words with his foreign neighbours, who voiced grievances about the disruptive noise.
Despite police intervention, the situation escalated as Pallaso and his entourage persisted in playing loud music well into the early hours of Thursday, disturbing the peace of neighboring guests.
Witnesses reported that the noise persisted until as late as 5 a.m., leaving many sleepless and frustrated.
“In my country, I do what I want. Am Ugandan I do what I want. When I leave Uganda, I do what they want but it’s different but in Uganda,” Pallaso vehemently retaliated during the altercation, as captured in the video footage.
The clash underscores the ongoing issue of noise pollution and its impact on community harmony. While Pallaso asserted his right to freedom in his home country, the incident has raised questions about responsible behavior and the need for mutual respect among residents and guests.
Efforts to reach Pallaso or his representatives for comment on the incident have been unsuccessful thus far.
However, the video has sparked a conversation online, with many expressing opinions on both sides of the debate regarding noise regulations and individual freedoms.
As the aftermath of the dispute continues to unfold, it serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing noise pollution concerns and fostering understanding between neighbours to maintain a peaceful coexistence.
