NTV Uganda recently unveiled another talent as an addition to their vibrant news team. Arnold Segawa is the name and everyone has been talking about the financial journalist passionate about macroeconomics and monetary policy.
Just who is Anorld and what about him has gotten everyone talking on Social Media with some people abandoning the very popular NBS Live at 9 for NTV Tonight as a source of information.
Well for starters, the ladies love his voice. One lady said that his presentation is just on point and it keeps everyone glued, but it is the voice that tops it all off.
Others have come out to joke that he looks a lot like a guy from SFC thanks to his mustache and no-nonsense face when he is on set.
Well, Arnold is a Chicago Plan enthusiast and anchor. He is an experienced broadcast professional anchoring global top-tier media programs on finance and economics. Segawa describes himself as a market aficionado. It is said that no Ugandan journalist comes close to him when it is financial matters and his beard can prove this point. At only 29 years of age, Segawa is living many people’s dreams before he even clocks 30.
The now NTV Tonight news anchor is skilled in framing discussions about current challenges facing the African continent to reach a diverse regional and global audience.
While in Rwanda, he worked as Program Manager at 94.3 Royal FM. It is here that CNBC spotted him. He holds a certificate in oil and gas management from Victoria University, a bachelors in International Business from Makerere University and Masters of arts in Journalism and media studies from Makerere University.
