Nile Special has launched a new consumer campaign in which individuals stand a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to watch the 2018 FIFA World Cup live in Russia. Dubbed “Tulumbe Russia”, it was launched on Wednesday evening at their head offices in Luzira.

The campaign, which will run throughout the month of May, will see 10 lucky consumers across the country win fully paid trips to Russia. There are also several other goodies including TVs, and Kwese decoders among others to be won.

Speaking at the event, Nile special Brand Manager Isaac Sekasi said that, “Sports is one of the things that brings Ugandans together. There is no better way to unite Ugandans than tapping into their passion points that are relevant to every Ugandan and that is our role as Nile Special.”

He also revealed that Nile Special is the first truly Ugandan brand to be associated with the FIFA World Cup.

The “Tulumbe Russia” campaign will run for a month ending on May 25th. To stand a chance to win, consumers will text a code under the Nile special crown to 8008 or log onto the Nile Special website.

The first draw was held at the launch ceremony and saw Pius Ogena, one of the guests become the first winner of an all expense paid trip to watch the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Two other lucky consumers walked away with a Kwese TV decoder and a Flat TV Screen.
