At long last prayers of the artistes and performers may have been finally answered after a new police unit was put in place to ensure copyright law is enforced and piracy of Art stopped.

Though some of artistes like Bebe Cool were against the copy right law it is believed theatre performers and actors will be the ones to gain much as they have always claimed that there is nothing they are gaining out of their creativity since everyone just supplies the movies thus much of the money goes to Video Library owners.

“The #SamsungTwitterParty is back! Get ready to party the night away come 19th December at Zone 7 with fellow tweeps. Entrance is 15,000shs. Call 0775439894 for details. Great music and drinks.”

The copyright issue was raised months back after the Ugandan Tax Body, URA become serious and started impounding artistes’ vehicles and other property making those in the art industry to realise that much of the money was being taken by the work distributors who were not even authorised to do so.
