Renowned Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo has unveiled his latest musical endeavor, the official Kukyala theme song titled “Nervous.”
The song serves as a heartfelt tribute to his beloved, Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development (Minerals), commemorating their recent pre-marriage ceremony, locally known as “Anena”.
The accompanying music video offers a comprehensive glimpse into the splendid affair that unfolded at Hon. Nyamutoro’s ancestral home in Bulenga.
Capturing the essence of their love and cultural traditions, “Nervous” promises viewers a poignant portrayal of the event.
The project holds deeper significance as it pays homage to Hon. Nyamutoro in anticipation of their upcoming traditional marriage ceremony.
In track number eight of his 19-track Blessings music album, Kenzo eloquently guides listeners through the emotional journey of the “Nyom” function, slated for later this year.
The video commences with Pastor Wilson Bugembe invoking blessings upon Kenzo and Nyamutoro’s union, symbolically marking the beginning of their marital journey.
It then unfolds with Kenzo leading a procession of elders through Kampala’s streets in sleek cars, culminating in a warm reception at Nyamutoro’s parental home.
Throughout the video, Hon. Nyamutoro radiates joy in her signature gomesi attire, adding to the celebratory atmosphere of the occasion.
With the success of their pre-marriage ceremony immortalized in this music video, Kenzo has set the stage for their forthcoming grand celebration.
Hon. Nyamutoro is noted as Kenzo’s third official partner following relationships with Rema Namakula and Tracy Nabatanzi in previous years.
Their relationship, which began in 2021, has blossomed into a public declaration of commitment and love.
As anticipation builds for their wedding day, “Nervous” stands as a testament to Kenzo’s artistry and his personal journey towards matrimony with Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, marking a new chapter in both their lives.
