Navio In Collabo With Star Keith Sweat.

Ugandan Hip hop star Daniel Kigozi a.k.a Navio is working tooth and nail in taking the Ugandan music to the international level. Latest information on Bigeye.ug’s desk is the teaming up of Navio and Keith Sweat for a collabo dubbed “On and On” with a sensation that is likely to lead music charts & knock countdowns. In Africa, Navio has built up a Hip Hop Industry where none existed, emerging one of the most Award winning Urban artist of all time in his country.

Keith Sweat on the other hand has won numerous awards, sky rocketing to the top of the world charts with a series hits over the years. As Entertainment experts (Bigeye.ug team) predictions reveal that such a collabo with two legends of this magnitude is set to rock the world.

Navio excitingly said that the collabo brings together the Godfather of R&B with the King of Ugaflow on one legendary track to usher in a new wave of inter-continental music alliance. He has done several collaborations with big names from the likes of R-Kelly, to West African Acts like 2Face and Sarkodie. But this collaboration carries special weight, as Keith Sweat will be in Uganda in a month’s time to stage one of the amazing shows Kampala has faced.

The “African Hustler” Navio will fly for two days to wrap up scenes from their video which is expected in fortnight and these touches are getting finalised in Atlanta. “On and On” was produced by Major 7, a fresh new talent on the American scene. The song will be engineered by one of America’s top engineering teams. They recorded the song at Keith’s personal studio on one of his Atlanta properties. He steps away from his battle roots once more, in conjuction with Navcorp and Encore Music Group, Navio brings us the classiest and most thrilling collabo of the year alongside the Legend Keith Sweat “On and On”.

StarTimes Kampala kids run 2019 unveiled

The StarTimes Kampala Kids Run 2019 kicked off in jovial style at Kampala Parents School on Thursday, 3rd October 2019 under the theme “Safe Drinking Water in Primary Schools”.

This is an event founded and organized by the NGO Kampala Kids Run, in partnership with StarTimes. It is the 6th edition in total but the 2nd edition with StarTimes on board as a sponsor. Other sponsors include Riham, CityOil, The Food Hub, and Ruparelia Foundation.The StarTimes Kampala Kids Run is an annual event that focusses on helping the less privileged children in rural schools.

During the speeches, Mr. Rajiv Ruparelia, the Managing Director of Kampala Parents School stated that, “We are very lucky. We work tirelessly to make sure we provide the best yet many children do not have the privileges we have. It is upon us to provide for them. Kampala Parents School students will also do a fundraising to support the cause.”

StarTimes CEO Mr. Franklin Wang said, “We are excited to launch our 2nd edition of StarTimes Kampala Kids Run 2019. The purpose is to come together to support our children in rural schools by providing safe drinking water. We care about each child’s health. So let us make StarTimes Kampala Kids Run a great success.”Much to the excitement of the entire school, the launch was concluded with a performance from the young and talented Patrick Senyonjo a.k.a. Fresh Kid, who is also a pupil at Kampala Parents School.

StarTimes Kampala Kids Run is scheduled to take place on 8th December 2019 at the Uganda Museum starting at 6am. For a child to participate in this cause, all he or she needs to do is buy a kit at only UGX 20,000. All proceeds from the event will go to ensuring that there is safe drinking water for children in rural schools.

Besides the kids’ Run which has the 1.5km and 3km race, there will be bouncing castles, a work out with Zumba dancers, kid games by the clowns and more.

Video: Gabriel K strikes again in “Twanywede”

Gabriel K is not new to the face of music. The singer has further cemented his place in the Ugandan music industry with his new Reggae ‘Twanywede’.

Gabriel K music is steadily rising through the playlists even when little is known of his private life. He has previously done much enjoyed songs We Just Want Love, Abeera Omu, Onsaana, Gimme The love, Done Waiting, Number One, Special Woman, among others.

His latest project has won him an appearance on Capital Radio’s Desert Island discs this Sunday which will make among the few Ugandan artistes to feature on this program. Clearly his works seem to speaker louder than many initially thought.

“Twanywede” was produced by Big Nash and written by the talented Shena Skies.

The comedian who did not want to talk about it declined to say a word but in our interactions with the casual workers we have discovered Alex Muhangi has several other apartments around town, some compete, others under construction.
