Navio has endorsed the Peace One Day campaign. The “Something About You” hit maker understands peace is imperative for progressive development and that is why he is supporting the campaign. Navio, who was a keynote speaker at the Peace One Day conference held in Kampala yesterday had this to say after the event:
“Peace in our times is paramount. A big shout out to Jeremy Gilles and his team worldwide for their efforts. Was mine a Key Note Speech or G-note speech?…We still made it happen. It was a pleasure supporting the efforts of Peace One Day. Should’ve performed#Ayaya and #NdiMukodo just for just”
Founded by Jeremy Gilley in 1999, Peace One Day is a non-profit organization that seeks to institutionalise Peace Day 21 September, making it a day that is self-sustaining, an annual day of global unity and intercultural cooperation on a scale that humanity has never known.
