Gossip in the corridors reveals that singer and radio presenter Rebecca Jingo is to be charged with arson and domestic violence according to a statement filed by her husband Joel Isabirye on the morning of 24th October, 2014 at Kiira Road Police Station.
According to reports, Joel Isabirye’s house was set ablaze but the fire was extinguished by the police that rushed to the scene. On Friday morning, Joel also posted on Social Media that, “this morning someone tried to stab me with a knife and I was lucky to survive. Those who slept praying for me your prayers worked. I have sent messages to a few people who if anything happens to me soon will know who did it.”
Sources reveal that there has been bad blood boiling between the couple for the past 12 weeks that has culminated in the singer attempting to secretly stab the husband. The reason to why both are fighting is not clear but what is known apparently is that Rebecca had neglected her duties as a mother in the home. According to close family sources, Rebecca has been coming back home very late without any explanation for her actions.
Police is yet to get hold of Jjingo.
