Solid enthusiasm, sheer talent and passion describes this young rapper’s music. MC Kijanah comes off with hardcore and raw youthful blood raging with defiance. The sonorous voice paints a gritty image of a lethal rapper with commanding authority on the microphone.
In “Tebantegeera,” he raps about the typical crossroads youths face in the pursuit of their dreams. Like he raps, often times, they are misunderstood and written off as vagabonds.
Tebantegeera, is a song about being comfortable in ones skin, dreams and hopes. Like Steve Jobs stated, “Your time is limited. Don’t spend your time living other people’s lives.” These are messages the youth need to know.
Like most rappers coming out, MC Kijanah needs to practice what he preaches.
“Monsophilly Da Unpredictable” his promoter calls him “the next big thing” however it takes more than flowery description to curve out a name in music.
