Ugandan movie industry may have got its un-prophesied messiah in Nsamba George Stanley aka Battle MC Nes G.
If Uganda has any chance of scooping an Oscar or Grammy, that possibility lies in the skilful hands of film maker, CEO Nes Motion Media and founder of SMA nominee Ghetto Film project, Nsamba George Stanley. After beating over 30,000 movie scripts to scoop a mouth watering deal with Mnet, the film maker who has been described as “Uganda’s James Cameron”, has opted to test the waters by producing a self funded Ugandan movie. He teams up with Fenon’s Bob Dixon in the making of a movie titled, “All For Facebook”.
“It is a short love story of a couple that meet on facebook, but along the way, the woman cheats with her ex; a break up ensues and they meet after 5 years and the past comes calling but the guy has a wife, son and career while the lady has been through disappointing relationships, three abortions and HIV positive,” he narrated the plot.
The movie scores a highly relevant subject in the advent of social media becoming a top meeting spot for many people especially the urban youths. A mix of HIV reality in the story elevates it from ordinary to a raw extra ordinary piece awaiting execution. That calls for exceptional talent to pull it off.
The movie will star the overly gorgeous city model, Dollar Pounds, the queen of selfies, best known for her peculiar taste of fashion taking a cameo role. Queen Agee, a lugaflow femcee carries the weight of main actress. St. Nellysade, “Love story” will be the soundtrack, Urban Aksent’s Lawraid Vybes also stars in the music production and a host of members of the record label.
“This movie is destined for Hollywood”, an excited member of Urban Aksent exclaimed .The movie will be shot at the picturesque Entebbe beaches and Endiro coffee.
We cant wait!
