It’s been a while since we last heard of people rubbing shoulders with people that appear and disappear mysteriously. Such talk was heard in some areas of Kakooba in Mbarara before the gossip ceased. However, it seems the ghosts are back in season two.
One Bishop Stuart University student only known as Kanyankole, told bigeye.ug that a week ago, while at one of the popular hangouts in Mbarara town, he was shocked when he landed onto an impeccably beautiful lady with whom they had a good time together at the club. When the fun was done, as the pair was heading home for the extra time, the lady disappeared mysteriously.
“I was shocked first of all by the way she was sipping bottles of Smirnoff ice one after the other but i was astonished by her beauty and I wasn’t looking at all that. She sipped about 7 of them in no minute and everybody was all eyes on her. As we were going home and I was trying to stop a boda boda to whisk us there, she disappeared.” Kanyankole narrated.
The question is; was she a real ghost or a “city born” who de- toothed his pensioner and run away? What if it was true that this person was actually a ghost, what next?
It might have happened in Mbarara to Kanyankole this time but who guarantees that it cannot happen here or somewhere else, or rule out the possibility that ghosts/ mijini exist here in Kampala hangouts already, so it’s a warning to all of us that hangout that please, make sure you hang out with someone you know or else, you might end up like him and may be yours would probably be a hard-hitting experience.
