Man Cancels Wedding To Watch Kobe’s Return

Anyone who saw Kobe Bryant’s first game back from his Achilles injury can’t deny that he had a bad night, but there’s one unlucky woman out there who apparently had it a little worse.

According to HipHop365.com, Simon Bradley had to break the news to his fiancé that he was postponing their wedding just so he could watch Kobe Bryant’s first game back as a Laker on Sunday.

“The #SamsungTwitterParty is back! Get ready to party the night away come 19th December at Zone 7 with fellow tweeps. Entrance is 15,000shs. Call 0775439894 for details. Great music and drinks.”

The 28-year-old — who describes himself as an obsessed Laker’s fan — promised his fiancé that they’d reschedule the wedding. That is, if she decides to stick around that long. I mean, what woman wouldn’t want a man mature enough to choose a basketball game over their own wedding? All of them, I’m guessing.

Bradley was set to marry his fiancé Melissa at the Marina Village’s Banquet Hall with around sixty invited guests. It almost sounds a bit too crazy to be true. But if Kobe can make it back from an Achilles injury that quickly, anything is possible. Right, honey???
