Veteran reggae artist Madoxx Sematimba has thrown shade at Bebe Cool following the release of his latest album Break The Chains. According to Madoxx, Bebe Cool is no longer breaking any barriers in the industry—instead, he may be reinforcing them.

“Bebe Cool isn’t breaking any chain,” Madoxx stated. “He’s an already established artist and if anything, he’s just linking those chains.”
Madoxx believes that Bebe Cool’s musical relevance has dwindled over the years, suggesting that his latest efforts don’t resonate with audiences as strongly as they once did.
“If Bebe Cool could go back to school and study how people run and manage music empires, he would become so huge,” Madoxx said, implying that Bebe Cool’s strength could now lie more in industry leadership than in active performance.
The Namagembe hitmaker further noted that Bebe Cool might serve better as a music executive or mentor given his experience and connections.
“He doesn’t appeal to as many people as before, so maybe it’s time he steps into a different role,” Madoxx added.
