Legendary Ugandan artist Bebe Cool has opened up about undergoing a liposuction procedure to remove excess fat from his belly, citing health concerns as his main motivation.
While speaking about his recent health journey, Bebe Cool revealed that he had developed a medical condition that was partly linked to the growing amount of fat around his midsection.
This, he says, not only affected his physical appearance but also contributed to a serious spike in his blood pressure.
“I had a medical condition and along the medical condition I also asked the doctor to proceed and do the surgery,” Bebe Cool stated.
He went on to reveal that his blood pressure would at times shoot up to 200, a dangerous level that put his life at risk. The situation, according to him, demanded urgent medical intervention.
“I had grown so much fat around my tummy, and I did a simple medical procedure to remove them and get a flat tummy,” he explained.
The “Love You Everyday” singer said the decision to go for liposuction was not purely for aesthetic reasons but largely to restore his health and manage his hypertension.
