After winning the award in the Lost and Forgotten category, Maddox Ssematimba has blasted the organizers of the Zzina Entertainment awards. The award ceremony organized by Galaxy fm which took place on Thursday last week, awarded Maddox who had been deported from Sweden for drugs and alcohol abuse with the ‘Lost and Forgotten’ award which he considered demeaning.

The singer was in the same category with Kid Fox who was recently reported dead only to show face soon after, Red Banton, Ziggy Dee of the “Eno Mic” fame and General Mega Dee.

“I now perform for corporates only,” Maddox said as he rubbished the awards.

At the award ceremony, the organizers categorically stated that this award was not meant to demean or make the winning artiste a laughing stalk, but to recognize the singers contribution to the Ugandan music industry.

Madox did not turn up to receive his award.
