Club Venom will be flying in two Jamaican stars this December in the names of Frisco and Mad Cobra. The little known music stars will come to Kampala in the second week of December according to the club manager Gareth Onyango.
Ewart Everton Brown (born 31 March 1968), better known by his stage name of Mad Cobra or simply Cobra is a Jamaican reggae musician. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica, raised in the parish of St. Mary and relocated back to the place of his birth during his teenage years. He began performing under his stage name, taken from a character in the G.I. Joe comic books, while still in his teens. He honed his talents on several local sound systems before entering the studio.
Born Steve Wray in west Kingston, Frisco Kid became known for songs such as Big Speech, on the Pepper Seed rhythm; Lion Paw, Round Here, Tell Me Why, Pop Pop Off and other hits. Years passed, however, and nothing more was heard from the artiste.
See you at Venom in the second week of December to all the dancehall music lovers.
