At the Muteesa II Memorial Stadium, Wankulukuku, the Kajjansi Boys of Lweza Football Club will host two time league champions Vipers Sports Club in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) in the Entebbe-road derby.
Lweza come into Tuesday’s game on the back of a 2-1 victory over JMC Hippos on Saturday while Vipers lost 1-0 to Express on Friday last week and will be hoping to return to winning ways if they are to brighten their chances of chasing for a third league title.
The Kitende based side who host their home games at Nakivubo stadium find themselves 5th on the league table with just 9 points from their six opening fixtures, leaving head coach Abdullah Mubiru and his assistant George ‘Best’ Nsimbe under pressure to achieve.
Lweza are 9th on the table with 7 points from 6 games.
Elsewhere, Police FC will be eager to end their losing streak when they welcome The Saints at Kavumba Recreational ground in Wakiso. The Cops have lost their last two league fixtures against Soana FC and Onduparaka FC by 3-0 and 2-1 on Tuesday and Saturday last week respectively, hence leaving them just a spot above relegation with just five points.
Saints on the other hand will be looking forward to exploit coach Sam Tumbe’s leaking back line. Police have conceded nine goals already and only bottom side JMC Hippos who host Proline FC on the same day can rival them. They have also conceded just as many.
