Local Celebrities Stand Up To Be Counted

Martin Ssempa

By Isaac Mites

As we run through the 10-day exercise of counting every Ugandan, under the theme, “Together We can Count” celebrities have stood up for the noble cause to encourage every Ugandan to get counted for the betterment and proper planning for our country.

Unlike the loudmouthed social media critic Frank Gashumba who is discouraging masses against the census exercise, Martin Ssempa among others celebrities collected their families on the first day of the exercise to be counted.

In an effort to propagate the influential impact to contribute positively, it has become a habit for every celebrity that gets counted to take a pic with a numerator and post on the social media. The recently voted Most influential Clergy man, Ssempa posted a pic of his family together with the numerator and captioned it “I have one wife” as he encouraged Ugandans to get counted for proper planning by the country.
