At the just concluded 73rd graduation ceremony of Makerere University, among the 13,000 students graduating was lifestyle blogger and influencer, Mugisha Patrick aka Mugibson.

The 24-year-old was pursuing a Bachelors Degree in the Science of Marketing and couldn’t hold back his excitement upon the newly achieved milestone.

He took to Twitter to announce the news, saying; “Been a 4 year journey made of strife, smart work & luck. Along it ups and downs but with God & support from my awesome mates, I finally have turned my can’ts into cans and my dreams into plans. Dad, Grand Ma, we finally bagged the degree.”

The news was welcomed warmly by the online community with many flooding his comments, and quotes with congratulatory messages.

Mugibson has been undertaking a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Makerere University Business School. Prior to joining university, he had studied his primary school from Amka Classic School; O’Level at Bishop Cypriano Kihangire SS and A’level at Katikamu SDA, from where he joined Makerere University Business School in 2019.

While speaking to our reporter, he said that the hardest part of studying was striking a school-work balance as he was always torn between attending lecturers, discussions and executing gigs for his clients.

He further noted that without a supportive circle of friends who always offered assistance in terms of school schedules and discussions, he probably would never have graduated.

It should be noted that Mugibson was nominated in the inaugural Pulse Influencer Awards in the Bloggers category. He has also appeared on multiple platforms to discuss various topics including music, digital marketing, blogging, and youth livelihood among others.

Now that the degree is done, what next? He told us that he now plans to finally pursue and further his media dreams.
