Saturday was a very eventful day at the Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards. From celebrities who couldn’t speak proper English when they were called upon to handover or accept awards to celebs who were so dramatic on stage to the extent of crying, celeb drama was in plenty.
One such celeb was Leila Kayondo who emerged winner of the most fashionable music video for her video Lero Tompona featuring Radio and Weasel.
When Leila was called on stage to receive the award, she couldn’t believe that she was the winner. She was left in shock and almost reduced to tears.
“Oh my God, I can’t believe it. I won this award. Thanks to fans, my family and everyone who believes in me. Thank you everybody,” she said as tears almost dropped down.
She was later overheard speaking to her close friend and former manager to Dr. Jose Chameleone saying; “Mutiima, akantu nkawangudde. I didn’t know that I can also win.” Mutiima simply smiled on.
Well, congratulations Leila Kayondo. Everything is possible under this sun.
