Like the saying goes, all good things come to an end. Kwivuga is set to hold a concluding edition. Dubbed the monthly meet of poets, Kwivuga poetry sessions will finally come to an end for good this Thursday (26th) at Gatto Matto.
“After more than two years of running the monthly event, we are holding the last edition of Kwivuga this Thursday,” revealed the organizers of the event.
Kwivuga has offered individuals a platform to express themselves through storytelling, often times than not, in poetry form. It had since turned into a platform to celebrate the not so much appreciated art form.
Every month usually culminated in a night of storytelling through poems at a select venue around town. Poetry lovers came together for the fun filled listening and telling poetry sessions, and they will come together one more last time this month to say goodbye to the show.
The closing event under the theme #KwivugaFinale shall feature amazing poets from “Poetry In Session” and will be spiced up by various musical acts from Toniks, Santana and Foever, who will also launch his “Hey Young World” Feza Arts Project.
