Eleven time league record champions Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) are set to parade their 2015/2016 Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) trophy in the city later this week.
After missing out on an opportunity to win a domestic double following their semifinal ejection from Uganda Cup by Vipers SC on a 2-1 aggregate, the Mike Mutebi-coached side are now calling upon their fans from around Kampala and all over the country to come view their trophy in parade.
Rumors from the Kasasiro Boys’ camp also suggest that they will be unveiling their new bus. If this comes to pass, it will be the first a Ugandan club parades a trophy in modern day football.
KCCA have won three league titles in four years.
