Ten time league champions, KCCA FC have forwarded investigations on their assistant coach Omulangila Sam Ssimbwa Bamweyana to the FUFA Disciplinary, Ethics and Integrity Committee.
It should be remember that Ssimbwa is on suspension at the Kasasiro Boys pending investigations into an allegation of match fixing.
According to a statement released by the club yesterday on their official Facebook page in regard to the matter, investigations on Sam Ssimbwa can no longer be handled internally by the club and have therefore been forwarded to the local football governing body (FUFA).
“We had committed to have this process concluded by the 31st of January 2016 on the understanding that the investigations would be conducted internally, which is no longer the case,” reads part of the statement.

UPDATES ON THE INVESTIGATIONS OF MR.SSIMBWA BAMWEYANA SAM
Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) wishes to inform you that we requested the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) to conduct investigations into the allegations and authenticity of a recording in which one of our coaches, Mr. Simbwa Bamweyana Sam allegedly uttered certain statements regarding his personal conduct in the field of football.
The Club was contacted and requested by the Disciplinary; Ethics and Integrity Committee of FUFA to file a statement and submit a CD of the recording for further scrutiny. This was done on the 29th of January 2016.
We had committed to have this process concluded by the 31st of January 2016 on the understanding that the investigations would be conducted internally, which is no longer the case.
We now wait for the committee to conclude the process and advise us.
In the meantime, Mr. Simbwa Bamweyana Sam shall remain suspended from work until the investigations are complete.
