KCCA FC fans grieved by coach Mike Mutebi’s sacking

Kampala City Council Authority Football Club’s fans are still castigated by the management’s decision of firing its most successful coach Mike Hillary Mutebi.

KCCA parted-ways with the proclaimed ‘Ugandan tick tacker philosophy’ executer on Monday, March 29, 2021 after a mutual consent.

Mike’s reign with the ‘Kasasiro boys’ comes to an end after 5years of a notable success in the history of Ugandan football.

The club will forever pride with a mammoth of titles it banged under his era and these include; CECAFA Clubs Cup (1), Uganda Premier League (3), Uganda Cups (2), Super Cups (4), Independence (1), Super 8 (1), Phillip Omondi Invitational Tournament (1), making him the most successful Manager in the Club’s history.

Despite his renowned stubborn character, the club fans and players will always cherish his support in upbringing young talents into the world’s football limelight.

His deputy, Morley Byekwaso has since been handed duties as an Interim Manager at the club.

KCCA FC and the Manager, Mike Hillary Mutebi have today, the 29th of March 2021 agreed by mutual consent to terminate his employment with immediate effect.

The Club, under his stewardship has attained Three (03) League titles, Two (02) Uganda Cups, Four (04) Super Cups and One (01) CECAFA Clubs Cup over the last five years making him the most successful Manager in the Club’s history.

The Club recognizes his immense contribution in making KCCA FC the leading Club in Uganda and wishes him well in his future endeavors.

Morley Byekwaso takes charge of all First Team duties as the Interim Manager immediately.

We wish Morley and the Team the best of luck.

Meanwhile, KCCA FC pitted against Nyamityobora FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 draws with the 1st and 2nd leg slated to be played between 5th-12th April 2021.
