Media personality Isaac Katende, better known as Kasuku, held a traditional Kukyala ceremony with his longtime partner, Angella. The intimate event took place at Angella’s family home in Luweero over the weekend.
In Buganda culture, the Kukyala is a customary visit where the groom-to-be is introduced to the bride’s family. It serves as a precursor to the grander Kwanjula ceremony, marking the formal acceptance of the man into the family.
Kasuku and Angella’s love story spans over a decade, dating back to around 2010.

The couple shares a deep bond and has built a family together, including their children. Despite being a prominent entertainment journalist, Kasuku has kept his personal life away from the limelight.
Although the ceremony was reportedly attended by only a few close friends, it was a joyous occasion that symbolized the couple’s commitment to each other.
