Renowned Ugandan journalist Isaac Katende, popularly known as Kasuku, has expressed gratitude for a 2014 incident involving celebrated musician Eddy Kenzo, describing it as a turning point in his career.

Speaking in a recent interview, Kasuku said, “Eddy Kenzo beating me up was a blessing in disguise. Since then, I have not been the same. I have earned a lot from it.”
The incident in question happened in 2014 at Centenary Park during a press event.
At the time, Kasuku accused Eddy Kenzo of allegedly paying media houses to block other artists’ music from being played.

This sparked a heated confrontation that ended in a physical altercation, with Kenzo reportedly thumping the journalist.
Despite the controversy and public backlash that followed, Kasuku now sees the event as one that reshaped his life positively.
He believes the attention brought him more opportunities and helped build his brand in the media industry.
Today, Kasuku remains one of Uganda’s most outspoken media personalities, known for his bold opinions and influence in the entertainment sector.
