Kapa Cat has finally opened up about her current whereabouts and the reason behind her absence in the music industry.

Despite a promising start, Kapa Cat has been relatively quiet musically this year, which has left many fans wondering about her situation.

In previous years, Kapa Cat consistently released new tracks, keeping her fan base engaged. However, 2024 has been different, with only one song to her name so far—a collaboration with Sheebah Karungi. Despite high expectations, the song did not perform as well as she had hoped.

Kapa Cat made her debut in the music industry in 2019 with a controversial track that quickly went viral, earning her widespread recognition.

She built on that success by releasing several other songs, which cemented her presence on the Ugandan music scene. Unfortunately, as her career progressed, she found herself embroiled in disputes with several musicians, including Gravity Omutujju, Mudra, and Spice Diana, who seemingly distanced themselves from her.

In a recent interview, Kapa Cat revealed that her absence from the limelight this year is due to personal reasons.

She has returned to her hometown to manage some businesses, which has taken priority over her music for now. Despite the break, she assured her fans that she has not abandoned her passion for music.

“People have been asking me what happened and why I’m not active. The truth is I went back to where I started from. I have some other personal things that I’m doing, but I have music in the studios. I will be back soon,” she promised.
