Kapa Cat has revealed her details about her childhood, stating that her own mother tortured her psychologically. The singer shared that her mother’s harsh treatment significantly affected her growing up, shaping her resilience and outlook on life.

Last year, Kapa Cat was involved in an accident while returning from a performance. She sustained multiple injuries and amid the concern and support, the singer’s own mother did not visit her in the hospital.
When Kapa Cat confronted her mother about her absence, she was told that her mother didn’t believe the injuries were severe enough to warrant a visit.
This response, though painful, did not come as a surprise here. She recounted in a broken tone that her mother’s neglect and psychological abuse had been a constant in her life.

According to Kapa Cat, her mother often belittled her, calling her ugly and criticizing her dark complexion. These experiences, while deeply hurtful, ultimately contributed to her developing a thick skin. The singer now faces the world with an unbreakable spirit, impervious to the criticisms that come her way.
“My own mother never loved me as a child while growing up. She used to tell me how I was ugly and too dark while growing up. Honestly, this really affected me. I remember even though I suffered an accident last year, she didn’t show up on my hospital bed. She just told me that she didn’t think the injuries were serious.”
