Artiste Derrick Katongole alias Victor Kamenyo has come out to respond to concerns that were raised by his former landlady about rent arrears.
While appearing on a television entertainment show, the artiste’s former landlady pointed out that she was owed 3.5 million in rent arrears for seven months by the lugaflow star. She went ahead to complain that Kamenyo had left the house in dire state and left without her knowledge.
Kamenyo however responded to the landlady saying that her issues are mere allegations aimed at tarnishing his name and brand.
The artiste who has an eye on a political seat soon said that he had rented the house for some of the needy children he takes care of. He also pointed out that he is a landlord himself with several rental units in Kawaala, a Kampala surbub and stressed that he stays in Munyonyo, an upscale Kampala surbub.
In conclusion, Kamenyo pointed out that the lady was being used by unscrupulous people that didn’t wish well for him with a purpose of tarnishing his image.
