Jose Chameleone made a bold statement about the Mayanja family’s legacy stating that while the family might lack discipline in certain areas, they more than make up for it with their musical talents.
The Mayanja family has consistently produced some of the country’s most talented artists. From Chameleone himself to his brothers, including Weasel, the family name is synonymous with musical success.
We are a maestro family when it comes to music. When you hear the name Mayanja, just know that it is music. We might not have discipline, but we have the songs and talent. Besides, we also got the money.
However, the family’s journey in the music industry is not without its controversies.
Yesterday at Comedy Store, Chameleone issued a a warning to events Promoter Nobat, demanding that he pay Weasel, his younger brother, for his performance at the “Memories of Goodlyf” concert.
Chameleone revealed that Weasel had signed a contract with Nobat Events while Chameleone was in the United States. He advised Weasel against working with Nobat, warning him that he had signed with “conmen.”
The tension between Weasel and Nobat escalated when the two were involved in a physical altercation. Weasel allegedly punched the promoter, adding fuel to the fire.
Nobat, however, denied owing Weasel any money, claiming instead that the singer and his wife had sold numerous VIP tables but failed to deliver the proceeds to the event organizer.
