President Yoweri Museveni Meets Ugandan Music Icons Bebe Cool, Jose Chameleone, and Alien Skin

Yesterday afternoon, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni hosted Bebe Cool, Jose Chameleone, and Alien Skin—at State House in Entebbe. The meeting was described by the artists as a productive discussion. 

Although details of the meeting have yet to be officially disclosed by State House, the artists took to social media to share their experiences. 

Bebe Cool, the Gagamel boss, confirmed the meeting on his social media platforms, describing it as a “brief visit to His Excellency.” 

“A brief visit to H.E today,we had a long chat as music brothers,it’s been a good talk. #SilentMajority #BebeCool”

Alien Skin, another attendee, noted the importance of unity in the Ugandan music industry. 

“If the chat we had with these gents was the same in the Ugandan music industry, the industry would be much further along by now.”
