It’s coming to two weeks since NBS TV announced that top news anchor and investigative journalist Solomon Serwanjja would be leaving the station. News now coming through from the Naguru political command Centre is that NBS TV is set to unveil a new news anchor as early as next Monday.
It is no secret that Next Media has earned a reputation for attracting and retaining prominent journalists in the industry, and our sources state it won’t be any different – they do not sleep and are not apologetic when it comes to hiring the best talent.
The list of people who have joined NBS TV from other media houses has grown over the years. The media giant has in the past attracted talents such as; Solomon Sserwanjja, Raymond Qatahar Mujuni, Zahara Totto, Anatalia Oze, Douglas Lwanga, MC Kats, Zambali, Hatma Nalugwa, and more.
Our sources now share that Joel Khamadi has been in different officials’ WhatsApp DMs seeking the next big opportunity, and that he is likely to be joining along with either of Josephine Karungi or Flavia Tumusiime to form yet another power news reading to alternate with Samson Kasumba and Sheila Tusiime.
