Joe Malaika wins best fashion designer at the Boston fashion awards

Boston based Ugandan fashion designer Joe Malaika is over the moon after sqooping designer of the year award for a second successive year. 

Overwhelmed with gratitude he said “To everyone who voted for me as Boston’s top designer, thank you. To my loving friends and family, your unwavering support means everything. To my amazing clients and future clients, thank you for trusting me. Being nominated was already a dream come true; this award is icing on the cake. Thank you, Boston Fashion Awards, for this incredible recognition” 

Joe Malaika dedicated the award to amputees who boldly walked the runway with him, fellow designer Mel Stern 

Joe Malaika will hold his annual Excessive Fashion Show on 8th December at Sheraton Boston to celebrate a decade of Excessive Fashion.
