The World Cup opening ceremony in Brazil this Thursday is sure to be full of ladies shaking their booties in sequined outfits – but one Latina lovely who won’t be is Jennifer Lopez.
Jenny From The Block was due to sing the official World Cup single We Are One (Ole Ala) with Pitbull this Thursday at the opening party in Sao Paolo but it’s now been announced that Jen, 44, will not be singing because of “production issues”.
J-Lo split from her toy boy ex, Casper Smart, 27, on Friday after two years together amidst rumours that he’d been texting transsexual model, Sofie Vie.
An insider has laughed off any suggestion that the split was to do with Casper’s alleged texting, and instead claimed that the couple secretly split two months ago.
“Casper has been a single guy and can text or see whoever he wants, but the idea that he was knowingly texting a transsexual is laughable,” a source told TMZ.
“He’s not that guy, but like a lot of single guys online he obviously likes to look at a ‘lil T and A.”
Apparently Jen has let Casper keep many of the expensive gifts she bought him during their relationship – including a customised truck that she got him for his 25th birthday.
Whatever the reason for Jen’s pulling out of her World Cup performance, we hope that she’s doing OK. She certainly looks as gorgeous as ever.
