The body of Ugandan TikToker Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, has arrived in Uganda, a week after he passed away in India following a long battle with sickle cell disease.
Jayden had travelled to India for medical treatment, where he underwent a bone marrow transplant. He later passed away while receiving care.
His remains arrived at Entebbe International Airport at around 2pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, where they were received by family members, friends and other mourners.
According to the latest funeral programme released by the family, mourners will hold a vigil at St Kizito Catholic Church in Namungoona on Tuesday evening.
A requiem Mass will be held at the same church at 10am on Wednesday, September 23, after which the body will be transported to Sala Village in Wakiso District.
Another vigil will be held in Sala on Wednesday night, followed by a requiem Mass at 10am on Thursday, September 24.
Jayden will then be laid to rest at his ancestral burial grounds in Sala Village at 4pm on Thursday.
