It seems like there’s been speculation for months on whether or not Kanye West’s bestie Jay-Z would attend what’s sure to be his over-the-top wedding with Kim Kardashian. It seems that Mrs. Sean Carter has been less than thrilled with the publicity of it all, and thinks it’s tacky.
But then we heard Queen Bey was not only consenting to attend, but to represent as a bridesmaid! Wait, what? Anyway, it seems those were only rumors, since the latest news about the Kardashian wedding is that Beyonce has put her foot down and they are not attending. Again.
Apparently Jay-Z feels terrible about missing his bro’s big day, if the size of his reported wedding gifts are any indication.
A source close to the Kardashians is claiming that Jay is planning on throwing Kanye thebachelor party to end all bachelor parties at his 40/40 club in New York. No word on if the shindig will top the party they threw for Barack Obama at the same location in 2012, but I’m willing to bet he won’t hide the champagne this time. That stuff is likely to be flowing!
Not only is Kanye getting a lavish sendoff from bachelorhood, Jay and Bey are apparently going to send the newlyweds off into the horizon on a pricey private yacht. Talk about starting your honeymoon in style! The rumored boat has a reported price tag of $170,000 — and that’s just for rent! God knows how much it would cost to purchase.
There are so many rumors flying around about whether or not Jay-Z and Beyonce will attend Kim and Kanye’s wedding that it’s hard to know what the truth is. But whether they go or not, I hope that Kim and Beyonce can play nice. Like it or not, their men are tight, and that means they’re going to have to at least tolerate each other.
