Jackie Chandiru bravely shared the details of her darkest moment, recounting how she had reached a point of despair and sought a lethal combination of drugs from a pharmacy.
Unbelievably, the pharmacy attendant suggested that she take the drugs with a local brew called “Kassese,” known for its potency in rural areas because that combination would radiate effectiveness of the drugs.
Waking up to a pounding headache and excruciating stomach pain, she realized that her attempt had failed.
She pinched herself to confirm her existence, relieved to find herself still alive. It was at this moment that she realized she had been given a second chance at life.
The near-death experience shook her to her core, leaving an indelible mark on her soul.
She now firmly believes that she survived for a reason, and she is determined to make the most of her life.
The things she witnessed during that time are something she never wants to experience or see again, serving as a powerful reminder of the value of life itself.
