Swangz Avenue record label songstress Winfred Nakanwagi alias Winnie Nwagi was this week denied access to the Ministry of Internal Affairs offices over ‘indecent dress code’, according to a video clip making rounds on social media.
Mr. Simon Peter Mundeyi, the spokesman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs says, Nwagi who had been slated for an interview at the head offices had intolerably dressed, making her attire not pleasant in such a government place.
In the viral social media video, the self-proclaimed ‘Fire baby’ is seen clad in a grey skimpy jumpsuit, blue-jean jacket and white canvas shoes.
It also said that upon her reaching the internal affairs’ waiting lounge entrance, the “Sasi Ku Nyama” singer was barred and politely advised to leave.
However, she instead started causing drama, prompting the security shifting attempt on her.
Winnie Nwagi has for the past two years been a main concern in the news with a mammoth of controversial cases from her.
Despite her often proving unbothered, these has sparked ridicule and shame on her as a musical brand and her label as well.
