Intellectual Co, Uganda’s fastest-rising youth streetwear brand, has officially announced Camp Kiwaza 2025 — a genre-defying fusion of fashion, music, and youth culture set to take place on Saturday, August 9th at Millennium Park, Lugogo.

The announcement was made by David Kwera, CEO and Founder of Intellectual Co, during a press briefing held in Kampala.
At the heart of this year’s edition is the launch of the brand’s boldest collection yet: Profound Immorality — a raw, expressive streetwear line featuring graphic shirts, bomber jackets, hoodies, and jeans designed to reflect the unapologetic Gen Z spirit.
“Intellectual is a place to retreat for the unconventional. Profound Immorality is about being loud in thought and loud in presence,” said Kwera.
Camp Kiwaza 2025 promises an immersive celebration of Uganda’s new wave of creative thinkers — blending streetwear, sound, and self-expression. The main stage will be headlined by South Africa’s Amapiano giants Mellow & Sleazy, alongside top Ugandan acts Joshua Baraka and Elijah Kitaka.
A powerhouse DJ lineup will also light up the festival, featuring:
- Buggy
- Dreadlazer
- Alza
- Vanns
- VXFaial
- Eyo Marcus…and more to be announced.
The event is powered by NRG Radio and Fenon Records, with five additional headline sponsors to be revealed soon.
“Camp Kiwaza isn’t just an event. It’s a platform. It’s a statement. We’re curating a space where young people can express themselves fully — from what they wear to what they listen to,” Kwera added.
In line with its community-first ethos, Intellectual Co also announced upcoming collaborations with local streetwear designers as part of an extended Camp Kiwaza creative showcase.
