Ethics and Integrity minister Rev. Fr. Simon Lokodo yesterday apologized to singer Desire Luzinda for making her life hard during her trying moments last year when her nude pictures leaked.
During a workshop on pornography yesterday, the minister could not help but imagine how hard it should have been for Desire when her nude pictures leaked and yet still he became another stress to the singer.
Lokodo said, “is there any relative of Desire Luzinda here? I apologize to her. I was so rough on her and I wanted her apprehended.”
He added, “I asked her, why did you do this? But she pleaded her innocence, saying she was not the one who leaked her own nudes but rather her estranged lover.”
Luzinda’s lover Franklin Emuobor, a Nigerian national in December last year released a series of pictures showing her nude. The pictures went viral on social media, drawing thousands of comments about the artist and her estranged boyfriend.
Father Lokodo has further pledged a visit to the singer’s home to apologise officially.
