Kampala Capital City Authority Football (KCCA FC) head Coach Abdallah Mubiru has cried out to the enraged club fans who recently wanted to attack him following their 2-1 loss to Sadolin paints in the Uganda Premier league (UPL) on Tuesday evening at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
“I need more time to settle in with my new players that have just joined the club. Give them time to fit and adopt to our style of play,” the sorry Mubiru said.
The angry fans questioned his tactics with some arguing that the club is too big for him and that it will be best if he steps aside and gives chance to someone else with potential.
Among the new players that joined the team recently in January is Cranes defender Savio Kabugo, Francis Olaki, Timothy Awani, Benjamin Ochan and Baker Lukooya.
The defending champions are currently 3rd on the 16-team log with 37 points from 19 matches and are 7 points behind table leaders Vipers.
