Being the controversial artiste that he is, Bebe Cool couldn’t keep quiet when he heard that all foreigners had been banned from working in Southern Sudan, as the country seeks to create jobs for their many unemployed youth.
The Gagamel boss took to Social Media to air his frustration and ended up banning all Southern Sudanese nationals from attending his shows.
Here is what Bebe Cool said:
“South Sudan has decided to send away all foreigners who work in South Sudan deadline 15th oct, that includes all our fellow Ugandan brothers n sisters who had invested thier lives in South Sudan.if it is true, let me be the first person to react positively by saying LET NO SOUTH SUDANESE EVER ATTEND MY CONCERTS AND I SHALL DO NO FAVOR FOR ANY SOUTH SUDANEE effective 15th October .Scratch my back I scratch your.gagamel for ever.”
This move didn’t go down well with many South Sudanese who reacted badly and ended up getting personal with the Love You Everyday singer. One particular fan called Jimmy seemed to be the most affected as he poured out his heart to us.
“Who the hell does he think he is to engage in Political issues of another country?” quizzed Jimmy Lomuro. “I am saying this on behalf of my people in Southern Sudan. We dont give a **** even if you ban us from attending your shows. Its our country and we make the laws. Don’t open your dirty weed mouth. You talk like you are something to us.”
Jimmy who was vividly angry at Bebe Cool then noted that Southern Sudanese love Radio and Weasel, Ragga Dee and Chameleone and not Bebe. “You are nothing, if you come to Southern Sudan, I will *** you. Only Chameleone and Goodlyfe are the good artistes. I hope this message gets to you” Jimmy concluded.
Bebe Cool has not yet commented on the statement. We will keep you posted.
