Ugandan musician, actress, entrepreneur and humanitarian who has been in the United States of America was given the TIAW World of Difference 100 Award under the best humanitarian category.
“I am grateful for winning this international award and am honoured to take on this bigger challenge of helping women world-wide,” said Halima.
Upon her return, a party was held in Kamwokya where she was received by fellow stars among whom was Rema who gave her a bouquet of flowers. Benedicta Nanyonga, Hajjat Aphwa Sebyala, Theopista Ntale Sekitto and Fatuma Wamala were some of the other Ugandans who were recognized.
